Paulus van Horne (they/them) is a radio producer, audio engineer & noise researcher based in upstate NY.
Paulus graduated from Oberlin College & Conservatory in 2016, with degrees in Environmental Studies and TIMARA (Technology In Music And Technology). In 2017, Paulus was named a Thomas J Watson Fellow, supporting their ongoing urban sound research project, “Noise and the Megacity.” Paulus’ current projects include Roxbury Bell Tower —designing a new sound for a bell tower that has been silent for a decade— and Girl Games —a deep dive into gendered gaming of the 90s and early 2000s— in addition to post-production on “American Chameleon” with artist Jaamil Kosoko Olawale.
